Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of teachers in implementing the Merdeka curriculum learning system at SMA Negeri 2 Simpang Hilir. This type of research uses case studies. The data collection techniques used in this study were participant observation and direct communication. The data collection tools used in this study were observation sheets and interview guides. The subjects in this study were teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Simpang Hilir, namely the Head Master, English Subject Teacher, and Deputy Head of the Curriculum Section. Data analysis techniques in this study use narrative descriptive techniques.
Based on the results of interviews with teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Simpang Hilir, the readiness of teachers to implement the Merdeka curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Simpang Hilir, namely by conducting training in advance for teachers led by the principal in analyzing learning outcomes, formulating learning objectives, compiling learning objectives, compiling diagnostic assessments, compiling teaching modules, and compiling teaching materials.
