ABSTRACT
Amin Abdi Luhur (321710201). “Using Worksheet in Teaching English
to Students of English Village of Parit Baru”. (Supervised by Dr.
Aunurrahman, M.Pd, and Sahrawi, M.Pd, Education, Teacher Training and
Education Institute of the Republic of Indonesia Teacher Association (IKIP PGRI)
Pontianak 2021.
This qualitative research was conducted to determine the implementation
using student worksheets used in English language learning in Parit Baru English
Village. The subjects of this study were active students of class V Kampung
English Parit Baru. The sample was selected using purposeful sampling.
The technique data collection technique used in this study was field notes
and documentation. Field notes as a tool to collect data, this is considered
important so that standard criteria for reporting qualitative research encourage
researchers to include field notes collection statements in manuscripts
Documentation is a way to collect data and information such as documents,
images, audio, video and information that supports research
Results of data analysis show that the function of student worksheets for
teachers in the process of learning English is one of the complements for teacher
learning to students in addition to textbooks. Student learning outcomes after the
implementation of using student worksheets in the teaching and learning process
are very good and help in the English learning process. Student worksheets can
improve students' English speaking skills.
