Abstract

The objective of this study is to find students’ perceptions of Smartphone as media in EFL classroom. The research used Quantitative Descriptive. There are 33 Engish students selected as respondents. For this research. The researche used questionaire by Hidayati (2019). In this study there were 20 questions about the reasons of using smartphone for language learning, the use of smartphone for language learning and Impact to students' skills from using smartphone in learning. In this study the researcher used questionnaire with four-point Likert Scale with strongly agree; agree; do not agree; and strongly disagree. This analyze data used Microsoft excel and SPSS 25.0. The research found 52% students agree to use smartphone as media in EFL classroom and 48% students’ disagree to use smartphone as media in EFL classroom.
Based on the result , A half of students give positive perception on using smartphone as media in EFL classroom. The response from their knowledge and their experiences. It be conclude smartphones has effects on learning in EFL
classroom
