Abstract
The research aimed to investigate the teachers’ difficulties in blended learning during Covid-19 pandemic, that are: (1) English teachers’ difficulties in blended learning during Covid-19 pandemic and, (2) Which difficulties the most faced by the English teachers in blended learning during Covid-19.
The method employed in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The sample consist of two English teachers’ at SMPN 3 Jawai. This research applied a direct method that were utilized a tool such as interview consist of 13 questions. Data were examined using data reduction, display data, and drawing conclusion.
The result of this research show that teachers’ at SMPN 3 Jawai faced many difficulties such as the use of technology by the students, internet connection issues, giving material to the students, students lack of motivation, difficulties to monitoring students learning. Besides teachers’ also used different content than used in face-to-face learning such as using youtube videos to teach student and using google form to give students task. However, there were difficulties faced by teachers at SMPN 3 Jawai, The school is continually seeking solutions to these issues by strengthening teacher cooperation and scheduling regular meetings with the teacher to evaluate the teacher's progress in teaching.
