Abstract
This research was investigate how estafet writing to implementation of Using Estafet Writing To Improve Students’ Writing Skill And Motivation To Tenth Grade Students Of Sman 1 Sungai Laur. This reasearch was conduced by using Classroom action Research (CAR), there are four steps, it is planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Technique of data collection is observation and interview were use as the tools to collect the data that is Field note, observation
checklist and writing test.
To finding of show the data, at the first cycle the mean score were 11,88 with the level mystery was poor. The mean score of then test show that stuudents’ score are not satisfactory. Theb reasearcher and the collabolator deside to continue the second cycle, at the second cycle the mean score were 14,00 with researcher and the collabolator desides to stop the cycle. The mean score of the students’ also imrove from cycle 1(11,88) to cycle 2 (14,00).
Based on the research finding, showed that the Estafet writing (EW) Method can improve the students writingv skill and motivation and Estafet Writing(EW) method was success to solving students’ problem in writing skill.
The reseacher found that students’ became more active, polite and very enthusiast when using Estafet Writing Method was implemented.
