Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how singing activities can improve English vocabulary mastery in English Village, Parit Baru Village, Pontianak. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action method which included 2 cycles. The research lasted for one month with a duration of four meetings where each cycle lasted two meetings. The findings from this study are that singing activities can improve students' mastery of English vocabulary in English Village, Parit Baru Village, Pontianak. This is shown from the acquisition of an average score which clearly shows the increase that has occurred. In the first cycle the average score was 59 compared to the increase that occurred in the second cycle the average score was 79. The results obtained by the researchers proved that singing activities were able to improve students' English vocabulary mastery in English Village, Parit Baru Village, Pontianak.
