Abstract
This reseacrh aimed to explore the average creative thinking score of EFL teachers’ in Kayong Utara Regency. The design in this research is descriptive quantitative study. The total sample in this research are 6 English teachers from 5
schools determined by homogeneous purposive sampling which only took with civil servant teachers. This research used the Alternative Uses Test in thinking, writing and alternative choice as a data collection tool consisting of 10 questions, specifically for the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The data that has been collected is then classified into skill categories based on the average score. The findings showed that EFL teachers' creative thinking skills were in the less creative category at 31.7%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that EFL teachers in Kayong Utara Regency is unable to think creative.
