Abstract
This research aims to see the intensity of the practice of purposeful teaching and concentration on teaching and learning in schools and to see the variations across home regions and school levels in the practice of purposeful teaching and concentration on teaching and learning. This research adopted a quantitative approach and used survey as the research method. Questionnaires were utilized as the primary tool for data collection, involving teachers from 26 schools located in 8 regencies within West Kalimantan. Subsequently, the collected data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel Software and SPSS 25. The research findings showed that there were frequent practices of purposeful teaching with mean 3.149 and concentration on teaching and learning with mean 3.433 in the schools involved, and there were consistent variations with the frequent scale based on
school origin and school level.
