The purposes of this research were to identify the students’ interest, and the factor than influenced students’ interest in participating Studi Independen Program. The subject of this study were the students of English Village with 30
students. The form this research was descriptive study with mix method approach in which the data regarding students’ interest was collected the data by using questionnaire and interview. Then, the result of students' responses to the questionnaire was analyzed through descriptive percentage, the students had very high level interest, with the percentage of questionnaire results from the students responses, 86,05%, only 13,95% responses students answer do not have interest. The result of the interview analysis conduct the researcher find some factors can influence students' interest in participating Studi Independen Program, that is a). Internal factor; health, intelligence and talent, attention and b). External factor; family, teacher and community.
Factors that influence interest in learning have impact for students in improving their interest in learning, while they are at school or within the surrounding environment. Based on the result of the research, the students responses in participating Studi Independen Program of English Village of Parit Baru, they have interested in participating Studi Independen Program
