This research is aimed to find out how the use of Giving Question and
Getting Answer (GQGA) Method can improve students’ reading comprehension
in narrative text to the tenth grade students of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu
Raya in the academic years of 2015/2016.The method of the research was
conducted using Classroom Action Research (CAR). Then, there were totaled 27
students of the tenth grade students IIS 1 of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari as the
subjects of research. The tools of collecting data were observation checklist, field
note, and readingtest.
Giving Question and Getting Answer Method in teaching reading text was
well-received by the tenth grade students of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu
Raya in the academic year of 2015/2016. Based on the data it was found that
Giving Question and Getting Answer improved students’ behavior. They became
more confident in reading comprehension
